April Showers.

Gone are the days when I can easily spot April Fool's jokes in the media - the state of the world as it is, every story sounds like it must be a joke.

I still don't know how I missed this one though - Chris Martin sides with the Conservatives and dedicates a new version of Talk to David Cameron (the article even includes the download):

"It was the converse trainers that did it for me/I got them in orange, wait till you see"

And, on the subject of changing songs not so subtlely, I wish I'd known about this competition to sing your own version of Dress Up In You - I'd have liked to enter, even if singing in any sort of public arena is really, really not my thing*

Spring's definitely sprung around these parts - the rain's almost warm.

You know, it's odd, but comments about the weather can't just be comments about the weather anymore - they have to followed by a long half-baked discussion of how much it has to do with global warming and the like. And that Scotland's probably not going to get any warmer. Gosh, but we're a cheerful nation...

I get the distinct impression that Myspace is about to go downhill really quickly, alas.
