Up in sunny-ish Aberdeen or thereabouts for a few days - enjoying "banter" with my parents and hoping for (though not always receiving) support from Tinka, who seems to find it all terribly funny. Which, I guess, it is...

Been a busy few days - I forgot to mention going to see V for Vendetta and being nearly moved to cheer as a duplicitous, conniving, dictatorial government's symbol of power was turned into so-much rubble. And being reminded of any number of recent events. Pretty good for a graphic novel adaptation disowned by the writer.

We've also been wandering round beaches; parks and botanic gardens; cathedrals replete with choirs singing Bach and umpteen other things. Which has been fun and more relaxing than it sounds, really. Oh, and buying more books. It's too easy to do.

This castle tomorrow, hopefully - you want dramatic? It gives you that and then some, frankly.
