Doctor Who and its slapstick chase scene; exceedingly sweet moments; rather tragic death and a sweet/sick/funny/weird conclusion. Mark Warren and Shirley Henderson were great and even the girl from Two Pints of Lager' wasn't appalling. Peter Kay wasn't that awful either, surprisingly.

And the line of the series so far goes to "Elton, fetch a spade!" I rather liked it, you know.

I could just as well be meaning the Italy v. USA game, of course - brutal violence interspersed with howls of rage at the TV as the US lost players left, right and centre. It was a war of attrition and even the most ardent azzuri couldn't have failed to root for the American team just a little. If you ask me, the USA were robbed.
