The referee's a ... very nice man.
Anyhow - back to me: I went to the Kelvingrove today, as I had the day off work - it's great, but there's way too much to see, and not enough room to see it. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea that thousands of people want to see art and cultural objects, but could they maybe do it when I'm not there? I'd rather stand in front of a rather nice painting* without small children treading on my toes or a rather irreverent woman touching the surface of the canvas, ok? By way of a contrast, the Uni's zoological museum** is rather... dessicated by comparison, even if it is a hell of a lot quieter. Rather disappointing, actually. Dave xx *John Lavery's portrait of Anna Pavlova. **Um, is it "Fishes"? I always thought the plural of fish, was, well, "Fish". Ahh, thank god for Ask the English teacher.
